Caves ex is a mod i made for me and my friends when we were doing a challenge in a cave only minecraft world, this mod is only intended for cave worlds only and if that is not the case it will not function as intended

Features:
3 custom bosses
4 new ores
Grass drops saplings
Animals will spawn underground
4 custom mobs
and probably a few other things im forgetting

This is a mod for Forge 1.17.1

Bosses:



Stone Lich
The Stone lich is a more powerfull evoker that can summon mobs, rapidly summon evoker fangs, shoot barages of arrows, and hit you with beams of fire, you summon it by obtaining 4 ruby, 4 rotten flesh, 1 stone, and use them to craft the cave catalyst which can be used to summon the lich. The cave lich drops a cave totem which acts as a more powerful totem of undying

Ruby King
The Ruby king is a king that can summon knights and minions, he is very fast and deals heavy damage. You can summon him by surounding a wither skeleton skull in ruby blocks to get a ruby catalyst which will summon the ruby king, he will drope a ruby blade which is the best sword in the game

Cave Lord
The Cave Lord is a very powerfull wizard that can be summoned by collecting multiple ores then crafting them into cave essense. When you first challenge him he will test you to see if you are worth fighting he will summon knights, wizards, and even a Stone lich. Once you have passed his trial the second phase will begin in which he will use his power to try and defeat you, defeated the cave lord will reward you in a assortment of special ores

Ores:

Opal
Opal is a rare ore found below y20, it can be used to craft enrichments which will increase your base stats, and it can also be used for powerfull enchants

Saphire
Saphire is about the equivilent to diamonds, it can be used for strong tools and can be upgraded to amethyst tools by using a large sum of amethyst, it can be rarely found below y20

Ruby
Ruby is a material mostly used in the summoning of bosses, it can be found below y30

Super Gem
By combining all of the custom ores you can create super gems, which can be combined with amethyst armor to make the best set in the game

Mobs
All of the mobs listed bellow will spawn naturally in the overworld

Zombie Commander
The Zombie commander is a more powerfull zombie wielding 2 rotten blades and a full set of iron armor, he moves quickly and can summon zombie minions to aid him in combat, defeating him will reward you rarely with a rotten blade

Skeleton Master
The Skeleton Master is a powerfull skeleton that can do ranged and melee attacks at the same time, defeating him can reward you with his mechanical shortbow

Obsidian Ghast
The Obsidian Ghast is a ghast that will rarely spawn, it will attack you by shooting explosive obsidian blocks, it has a lot of hp but is not very fast, defeating him will drop obsidian tears which can be used to brew osidian elixer

Corrupted Golem
The corrupted golem is a iron golem but it is covered in black, it will run at you and attempt to attack you at high speeds, it deals high damage but does not have any abilities, defeating it will reqard you with corrupted fragments, which is a new type of food that does something mysterious
